Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I moved to the United States before turning 18 to pursue a career in dentistry. My hobbies are ones that involve working with my hands such as woodworking, leatherworking, and gardening. I have recently begun learning more Spanish to help communication with any future Spanish-speaking patients.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Being in clinic has reassured me of my career choice in becoming a dentist. Clinical dentistry has been very rewarding and has inspired me to keep learning more to become a better, more educated dental provider.

I am a fun loving, faith driven, energetic Hokie who has a passion for service and enjoying life. I love to do activities outdoors, watch Hokie sports, and participate in Missions projects. In addition to two MOM projects, I have served on two trips to El Salvador and after this July two to Jamaica.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I love dentistry because it combines my love for working with my hands and solving problems (engineering background) with my love for people and serving them. I have an opportunity to live out my faith by loving others passionately while still challenging my hands and my mind with my career daily.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am a single mother of a four-legged Labrador. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My favorite past times include; snowboarding, surfing, fishing and being anywhere close to water. I enjoy making others smile and I always strive to find the greater good in everything.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Dentistry provides me a perfect avenue to express myself through patient care and interaction. I love being able to work with my hands and transform someone’s smile. The best part about dentistry comes from the patients I treat and their gratitude towards the treatment they have been rendered.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I'm 31 and married to my wonderful wife with a cat and a dog that keep us constantly entertained. My wife and I love to travel and explore new places whenever we can. I enjoy skiing, golfing, and cooking on my Big Green Egg Grill (1st place in the Jamaica Project fundraiser chili cookoff!)

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I love the immediate impact you can have on your patients, whether it's getting them out of pain from an infected tooth, fixing a chipped incisal edge, or cleaning a fifty-two year old's teeth for the first time in their life. Being able to improve the way someone smiles is rewarding beyond words.
