J. Marvin Reynolds Prosthodontic Scholarship Fund

J. Marvin Reynolds Prosthodontic Scholarship Fund

Dr. J. Marvin Reynolds graduated from the MCV School of Dentistry in 1951. Throughout his dental career, Reynolds gave more than 300 presentations to dental groups and associations, and received numerous honors. He established this fund in 2007 because "dentistry was good to this farm boy from Southwest Va.," and he wanted to do something in return.

The fund will support a scholarship for a rising senior dental student who has shown outstanding promise in all areas of fixed and removable prosthodontics. The Department of Prosthodontics will select the recipient based on the student's credentials, as well as performance in didactic, laboratory and clinical areas.
