Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in here in Richmond and have loved exploring this city all my life. I am an avid foodie and tennis player, and in my free time I enjoy reading, listening to science podcasts, and spending time with my close friends and family. I am passionate about traveling and meeting new people!

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
My passion for dentistry stems from my time growing up volunteering at the Wise MOM Projects. At these projects I witnessed overwhelming empathy and compassion for those in need and saw the impact oral health/education has on communities. I then knew I wanted to join this profession of service!

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in Richmond but have been discovering my love for the Fan area, and I am the fun aunt to my roommate's new puppy, Lincoln. In my free time I love reading, playing sports (swimming, running, softball), crocheting, discovering new RVA restaurants, and spending time with family and friends.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I attended a MOM project with my dad and the denture team. In two days, patients came edentulous, in pain and with little quality of life, and left with beautiful smiles. The joy and gratitude the patients expressed initiated my drive, and I continue to chase that feeling of changing lives for good.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
My hobby is trying new things. Prior to COVID, I took sculpture classes, studied abroad, and volunteered in construction work. Now, my “new things” look more like cooking and eating foods I don’t like, discovering more about my hometown, Richmond, and volunteering in new fields.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Dentistry has long been my concrete plan to give back to the communities close to home and far away. Dental school has proven that dentistry is and will be the most difficult part of my life, but my passion to the long-term goal of giving back keeps me going.
