Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I have worked at a 4 H center at Smith Mountain lake for the last 10 summers. I love working with people, especially children. I enjoy reading, shopping, going to concerts and spending time with my family and friends. I volunteer as an adviser for the Delta Gamma Chapter at William and Mary. After graduation, I will be in the US Navy. At school, I am the vice president of the class of 2014, and I am one of the student coordinators for the MOM Projects.
Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Growing up, I always had positive experiences with my dentist & orthodontist. I loved having braces, and I am thankful for having them. I was also able to see my dentist and orthodontist be involved with their families and in the community. Being a dentist, I will be able to make a difference in the lives of my patients, as my dentist and orthodontist did for me. I am excited to be a part of a profession where I can help people and still have time to spend with my family and volunteering in the community.
