Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I'm a lover of stories. Whether it's a newly published fantasy novel, a translated ancient text, breaking news of an archaeological finding that changes how we interpret human history, or a well-scripted story arc on TV, you'll find me sharing my excitement with my dog, Charlie, and sipping hot tea.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I'm passionate about giving and receiving functional gifts. Having fully functional TMJ and oral health are gifts that a lot of people take for granted. As a healthcare provider, it's a gift to be able to treat pain and disease, and to return function, esthetics, and confidence to my patients.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up on a farm in Abingdon, Virginia, and love the outdoors. I enjoy hunting, farming, and exercising. I’m married to my wife of four years, who I first met in middle school. For now, we call our 110-pound Great Dane our child, but we plan to return home after school and start a family.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
The relationship aspect, coupled with the ability to contribute to an individual’s positive health outcome, is something I became passionate about as a personal health trainer. These similarities in dentistry, paired with the artistic detail, are what fuel my passion.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am a first generation college graduate. My mother was a Vietnam refugee who immigrated to the United States. By doing so, I was fortunate enough to have been provided an opportunity to obtain an education. My leisure activities include weight lifting, road cycling, and being a saltwater aquarist.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Knowing that I am in a position to make a difference, I am passionate to be able to couple my education and commitment to service to positively impact the communities around me. Furthermore, the ability to integrate my artistic capabilities and personal values makes the career worthwhile.

Roanoke College–Biochemistry major with Spanish minor

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I grew up in the outskirts of Roanoke, VA at the base of Catawba mountain where I developed a passion for hiking, gardening, and working outside. I met the love of my life, Abby, at Roanoke College. We now live with our rescued dog, Gumbo, in Church Hill, and are getting married this year.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
In high school I had a tubing accident on the lake and broke several of my front teeth. I was very fortunate to have a talented and compassionate dentist that was able to help me through the procedures and ever since that experience I have wanted to repay the favor to anyone in need.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am recently engaged following the return of a fantastic Disney trip! Though it may not constitute a hobby per say I am very passionate about theme parks and really enjoy the wholesome environment. Along the more traditional lines, my hobbies include building model kits and working on motorcycle.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Like most people, I find myself passionate about dentistry because of the desire to help improve the lives of my community. Being able to instill a sense in confidence in a person when they smile and the sense of pride it gives me is overwhelming. All the while, working with my hands, which I enjoy.
