I have two little girls, one 17 months and the other 3 years old. My eldest is a daddy’s girl and we are inseparable when I am not at school. I like to go on long walks with my wife, play basketball with my friends and watch movies at home.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
My greatest desire is to become a dentist in order to provide service to my family, my community, and any individual that is in need. In doing so, I hope to build strong relationships and connect with people from all walks of life.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
Approachable, resilient, hardworking, sympathetic, virtuous- these are a few words I'd use to describe myself. I married my best friend in December 2014 and believe that balance is essential in life. I strive to make time for the people and activities I love while still giving 100% in school.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Dentistry allows me to challenge myself daily. I love being able to solve new problems and develop new strengths while working on my weaknesses. I love being able to build relationships with patients and impact their lives in any way I can, whether physically or emotionally.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am a rising D3 from Lynchburg, Virginia. I was raised a Hokie fan but attended the University of Virginia. None of my family is in dentistry, or any form of medicine. I love playing almost all sports, while tennis may be my favorite. Currently, I am in the process of obtaining a chocolate lab.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Dentistry is something that has interested me since I was a child. When we did a career planning activity in middle school, I chose to be an orthodontist, and I was serious about it. I love dealing with people and making people smile. The ability to relieve patients of discomfort is very rewarding.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I have been married for 3 years, and we had our first child, a baby boy, in January 2015. We enjoy taking our 2 dogs hiking and camping around VA. I swam for Georgia Tech and have continued swimming and coaching since then. I enjoy gardening and home improvement projects on the weekend.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I was drawn to dentistry because I saw an opportunity to have a dramatic impact on peoples' lives. We reconstruct our patients' smiles. More importantly, we need to focus on education, so they can maintain their natural dentition. I enjoy clinic time because I can tell I'm making a difference.
