am currently an IDP student starting my D3 year.I have 2 kids, I enjoy activities such as knitting, embroidery, and various crafts like painting. I also love outdoor activities with my children, such as cycling, scooting, walking, visiting museums, the zoo, and spending quality time with my family

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I love my profession because I have been able to make an impact on the lives of many patients by improving their oral health and establishing strong relationships with them. I am so passionate about it that I am studying it again, with the desire to make the same impact in this my new country USA

I am a rising D3 dental student, l am single and live with roommate. I've been taking federal loans to support my self and pay my bills and living expenses. Outside dental school, I like to spend my time with friends, hiking or going to the gym.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
I like the combination of science and art.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I am active, positive, and diligent mom of a 4 year old girl Mia. In September we expect baby boy to join our family. We enjoy outdoors activities, music, dance, painting, and sports. Most of all, we love to interact with people, travel, and to help those in need. We are quite diverse family.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
My deep connection with dentistry initially arose from my experiences as a young child. I experienced first-hand challenges and hardships that come along with being edentulous. I would love nothing more than to help others with similar problems so they can experience improved health and confidence.

I am married dentist with 7 years of experience that worked with underrepresented communities. In 2015, I moved to the US and was accepted in the IDP Program here at VCU. Currently, I am working on my third year in the program and would like to pursue the specialty of Orthodontics.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
Dentistry is more than just knowledge, it is an art. It is a discipline that allows you to work with your hands and handcraft beautiful smiles. To be a dentist is to understand the symbiotic relationship between attention to detail, knowledge of the subject, and art—to create the dental anatomy.

Tell us a little bit about yourself:
I'm originally from Colombia. I miss my family dearly but I live with my amazing husband, we don't have children yet, but we can't wait to start our family! In my free time I enjoy working out,being outdoors,hiking,doing yoga,dancing,watching documentaries,and spending time with friends and family.

Why are you passionate about dentistry?
It not only gives me the privilege of helping others and care for the community but dentistry also allows me to challenge myself with every case,every patient;to be creative.It is a team-oriented profession,which I love.There's s so much to learn in the field,different paths. Rewarding profession!
